## @samconnerone (Sam | Circle and Arc Dev Community) · 09-19 18:34 · ♥42 ↻5 💬12 Keep the answers coming but I used grok to summarize the responses and here’s what it concluded:
“The dominant answer: payments, neobanks, and “spend it like cash.” Many people said the fastest way past skepticism is sending, receiving, or spending stablecoins in an app that looks like a bank or wallet, not a casino.
Net takeaway from the responses If you ignore the self-promo, the consensus is: 1. Start with a simple money action: send USDC, claim a tip, or spend crypto in a neobank-style app. 2. Use an interface that already feels like a bank, WhatsApp payment, or mainstream exchange. 3. Avoid leading with DeFi complexity or token trading. 4. Several people think the real gap is still consumer apps with obvious daily utility, not another wallet.” > 引用 @samconnerone: You have a close friend who is skeptical of crypto.
What’s the first app you’d tell them to download to see its value; and why? https://x.com/samconnerone/status/2101379514337050625
## @Slokh (Kartik) · 09-19 17:13 · ♥40 ↻0 💬5 Muse helped me buy a cake for my wife in Seoul from an indie IG shop she’s a fan of. I don’t speak Korean well (yet) so this usually would have been much harder.
Worst part was actually paying for it as a foreigner. Kept going between Muse and Kakao to figure out an acceptable payment method with her (and we eventually did).
We both initially connected through IG so would have been nice to just have Muse pay her directly (stablecoins on @tempo 😏) rather than exiting to other apps.
In general, I’m extremely bullish on personal agents for travel as these things get even more frictionless to use. https://x.com/Slokh/status/2101358968983769500
