## @WilliJ24570 (WILLI-JAY👑) · 10-02 04:57 · ♥77 ↻10 💬73 I think DeFi has an onboarding problem
Not an infrastructure problem, not a liquidity problem.
A user experience problem
For someone already deep in crypto, having a wallet, an exchange account, a bridge, a yield platform, a payment card and five different addresses might feel normal.
For everyone else it's chaos
And that's why @deficom caught my attention
They're approaching DeFi from a different angle:
What if decentralized finance could feel like one complete financial account?
Not another wallet, not another exchange. Not another app that solves one tiny part of the financial stack.
One account designed around: ✓Hold ✓Send ✓Spend ✓Earn ✓Trade
While keeping the user in control of their funds.
SELF-CUSTODY WITHOUT THE USUAL FRICTION
Self-custody has always come with a trade-off.
You get control over your assets, but you're often responsible for complicated addresses, recovery processes and managing multiple applications.
@deficom is trying to make that experience significantly more approachable
THE VISION • Your money remains yours • The experience becomes easier to use. •Stablecoins can become spendable. • Crypto can become part of your everyday financial activity
You can potentially move money globally, access earning opportunities and trade different assets from the same account.
That's a much bigger proposition than simply building another crypto wallet.
But there's another piece of the puzzle that really stands out to me.
INTRODUCING defi ID® Imagine instead of sending someone:
"0x7F...A91"
you could simply give them: *https://t.co/7KmFh8Q9HF"
The system is being designed around verifiable credentials, zero-knowledge proofs, stealth addresses and selective disclosure.
You shouldn't have to expose your entire financial history just to prove one thing about yourself.
Your entire financial history? That shouldn't automatically come with the transaction
This creates a different vision for blockchain identity.
That distinction matters because if DeFi is going to become part of everyday finance, privacy and compliance can't remain opposing ideas.
• People need privacy •Businesses need verification • Institutions need compliance • Users need ownership
Imagine having an identity that can interact with different chains, financial services and applications while you remain in control of the underlying assets and information.
The user just knows he/she controls their identity
And the blockchain infrastructure does the heavy lifting underneath.
That's the experience DeFi has been missing.
@deficom is currently working toward its public launch, targeted for Q4 2026, with early access available through its waitlist.
But because the bigger question is worth watching:
Can DeFi finally become simple enough for people who don't care about DeFi? https://x.com/WilliJ24570/status/2105884887697764509

## @BSCNews (BSCN) · 10-02 02:03 · ♥45 ↻4 💬4 Monad teases native privacy for its L1 blockchain.
Cryptically posting "Privacy is coming", @Monad is likely to unveil native privacy functionality for its blockchain.
The chain already boasts nearly $700M in native stablecoins and more than $1B in TVL.
If privacy is brought to the $MON L1, it could pave the way for further adoption through institutional and regulated use cases - the type of use case for which a fully transparent blockchain does not make sense. https://x.com/BSCNews/status/2105840943844978941
