Get into the festivities of the latest Pokémon Trading Card Game expansion, 30th Celebration, when it arrives in Pokémon TCG Live on September 15, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. PDT. Look forward to playing with new cards like Mew ex and Sylveon ex, collecting day and night-themed artwork and Pikachu rare cards, and taking a walk down memory lane with the Classic Collection.

You’ll also be delighted to see your battles in Pokémon TCG Live taken to the next level with a newly refreshed Battle Board experience! When you log in for the first time, you’ll notice gold-themed visuals and new anniversary music for a full 30th Celebration takeover.

Battle Pass Decks

Two new Battle Pass decks also make their debut with this expansion. Players will receive a Mew ex deck upon log in after 30th Celebration goes live, and they can unlock a Sylveon ex deck as they play. Professor Fir will even have a new Learning Lab lesson ready to help players get the most out of their new Mew ex deck. For even more tips on unleashing the full power of these decks, be sure to check out our 30th Celebration Battle Pass strategy article.

Missions

How are your master sets going? As you work toward completing each expansion, you can now enjoy completing smaller collections along the way! To celebrate 30th Celebration, there will be a variety of Missions to complete including the following two: one to collect all 30 Pikachu rare cards and one to collect the entire Classic Collection. You can expect this feature to continue as part of future expansion releases, so stay tuned.

Battle Board Update

The Battle Board has been leveled up with a permanent, new stadium-like experience with both audio and video changes that ignite the spirit of competition in every game. For a limited time, the Battle Board will also feature day- and night-themed variations inspired by YOSHIROTTEN, and they change depending on the real-world time of day!

Enjoy testing new decks, forming new collections, and more with 30th Celebration, Trainers!
