Most privacy projects come short for the same reasons:
• Transfer-only (Zcash, Monero, Tornado Cash) with no real DeFi
• Overlays on public chains that still leak via RPCs, timing, deposits, and MEV
• Poor UX + trusted setups + regulatory heat $AZTEC spent years building a hybrid L2 with Noir. It’s functional but still an overlay that settles to a public chain, uses non-EVM tooling, and hasn’t delivered broad private DeFi adoption. $ZKTRACE is taking a different path:
• Live private RPC tools today (no IP/wallet logging across ETH, Base, Arb, BNB, Solana)
• ZeroChain — a native EVM L1 (testnet live) where privacy is the chain: no public history, sealed events, unlinkable Shield payments
• ZeroDex for private swaps and liquidity that don’t leave a trail
Native private EVM + practical metadata protection is the missing piece. Privacy coins couldn’t do DeFi. L2 overlays still inherit public-chain leaks. A private-by-default chain with familiar tooling can actually support real usage.
Early stage, but the architecture is cleaner than the last generation of attempts. $AZTEC proved demand. $ZKTRACE is aiming higher.

• Bitcoin fell toward $80K before recovering above $82K.
• U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded $484.9M in outflows on October 7, followed by another $244M on October 8.
𝗜𝗡𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗧𝗨𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗟 𝗔𝗗𝗢𝗣𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡
• @BitMNR acquired another 15,112 ETH, pushing reported holdings above 6M ETH.
• @okx attracted investment from @circle, @Ripple, Qube Research & Technologies and Standard Chartered’s SC Ventures at a reported $25B pre-money valuation.

• @Securitize launched 12 tokenized U.S. equities on @solana, including Apple, Nvidia, Tesla and Microsoft.
• @okx and Intercontinental Exchange filed with the SEC through their OKXICE joint venture to pursue a tokenized securities platform targeting around-the-clock trading.
Tokenized stocks are advancing, but liquidity, investor access and legal ownership remain important considerations.

• @PythNetwork reported $11.5M in annualized recurring revenue for September, up 10.6% from August.
• @coinbase expanded its institutional derivatives offering through @DeribitOfficial, broadening access to crypto options.
Revenue growth does not automatically translate into token-holder value. The connection between business performance and token demand still matters.

• Ethereum’s Glamsterdam upgrade activated on the Sepolia testnet on October 6, with testing around a proposed 200M gas limit. Mainnet activation remains unconfirmed.

• The @SECGov proposed changes to custody requirements affecting crypto assets held by investment advisers and funds.

• @FinCENnews withdrew two proposed measures concerning certain unhosted-wallet transactions and cryptocurrency mixing.

• @Ledger investigated reports of users losing funds after purchasing devices through reseller CryptoBilis.
• On-chain researchers estimated suspected losses above $86M, although the total and cause remain unconfirmed.
The incident highlights why device authenticity, recovery-phrase protection and transaction verification matter.
