PANews, October 12 - According to a report by The Wall Street Journal, Amazon is in talks to acquire artificial intelligence startup Decart for about $7 billion. Decart develops software that helps developers switch workloads between different AI chips. The company completed a $300 million funding round in May this year at a valuation of about $4 billion. Previously, according to Bloomberg, Anthropic had conducted due diligence on acquiring Decart for about $6 billion but ultimately abandoned the deal. The current negotiations have not yet reached a final agreement.
