Worth separating what that number shows from what it doesn't.
What the data shows:
→ 425K holders on Sep 1 → 900K+ on Sep 22 → 1M on Sep 24
→ $684M in tokenized equity supply, +47% in three weeks
→ $3.3B in 30-day volume, ~95% of onchain tokenized equity activity
What it doesn't show:
→ holders are addresses, not people. Wallets split, incentive programs inflate counts,
→ $684M across 1M addresses is roughly $680 per address on average, and the median is likely far lower.
★ The detail that matters → the SEC's Innovation Exemption (Sep 17) only covers tokens backed 1:1 by real shares with voting and dividend rights, traded on permissioned, US-incorporated venues.
Much of what trades on @solana today is structured differently.
So the growth is real but it's growing in the part of the market the new rule doesn't protect.

Custody is Coinbase Custody. The trust stakes its NEAR and keeps about 67% of the rewards. That part is standard for staking ETFs now, Bitwise runs the same structure on Solana.
