There’s a lot of FOMO building on Twitter right now.
We accumulated around $58K–$62K, so after capturing that move, I’m taking profits.
That doesn’t mean I’m calling a local top. As described in my last post there is not a lot of sell pressure between this level and $88,000.
It just means I’m managing the position based on the risk/reward in front of me.
And for the newer members:
Yes, I still expect a retrace toward the mid-$70Ks.
That remains my base thesis for now.
But I’m not going to force that thesis if the market starts telling us something different.
My invalidation is clear.
If Bitcoin starts closing multiple daily and weekly candles above $83K, I will consider the retracement thesis invalidated and reassess.
Simple.
I’m not emotionally attached to being right. I’m focused on responding to the data.
So for now, there is no reason for me to chase the market because Twitter is getting euphoric.
We already had our entries.
We already captured a significant move.
Now we wait.
The market doesn’t move in a straight line, and neither should your decision-making.

Do you know? #MAID (MaidSafe) was one of the FIRST ICOs in crypto history, 2014, before Ethereum existed. It promised to REPLACE THE ENTIRE INTERNET. Investors waited… and waited… for over a DECADE. Today: ~$0.08, effectively dead. The ultimate "coming soon" trap. 😳
The Raise: ▶️ ICO (April 2014): raised ~$6.4M at ~$0.029, one of the EARLIEST crowdsales ever (Omni/Mastercoin, pre-ERC-20) ▶️ Vision (Scottish firm MaidSafe, David Irvine): the "SAFE Network", A decentralized replacement for the server-based internet ▶️ MAID was a "proxy token", A placeholder to be swapped 1:1 for the real network token… ONCE it launched
Here's the wild part 👇, A DECADE of "almost done": → The SAFE Network vision dates to 2006, before Bitcoin existed → For 10+ years it stayed in testnet/alpha/beta, missing deadline after deadline → "Revolutionary tech, coming soon", every single year → It finally rebranded to "Autonomi" and launched ~2024 but by then MAID had faded ~94% and been forgotten
Today: ~$0.08 (down ~94% from ATH), no real volume.
Lesson for my CryptoPatel Family: 👉 "REVOLUTIONARY TECH, COMING SOON" FOR YEARS = NEVER. If a project's been "months away" for YEARS, it always will be. Wait for the shipped product, not the promise. 👉 "IT'S STILL EARLY / THE VISION IS HUGE" IS A BAGHOLDER TRAP. The grander the promise, the longer people forgive delays. Ambition is not a timeline. 👉 BEING EARLY MEANS NOTHING WITHOUT DELIVERY. One of the first ICOs ever, a decade head start, still -94%. Time isn't progress. 👉 A "PROXY / PLACEHOLDER TOKEN" FOR A FUTURE NETWORK IS PURE FAITH. You're holding an IOU for a launch that may take 10 years, or never.
The most patient way to lose money in crypto is believing in a "revolutionary" vision that's perpetually "coming soon." Invest in what EXISTS and WORKS today, not a promise that's been six months away since 2014.

Do you know? #DGB (DigiByte) is the OPPOSITE of a scam, NO ICO, NO premine, NO company, real tech, a devoted community, one of the oldest blockchains alive (2014). It did everything "right." And it STILL faded ~98% from ATH. Here's the uncomfortable lesson most people ignore. 😳
The Setup: ▶️ Launched 2014 by Jared Tate, A Bitcoin fork, mined fairly with NO ICO, NO premine ▶️ Real innovation: 5 mining algorithms, DigiShield (copied by many coins), Digi-ID passwordless login ▶️ ATH ~$0.18 (May 2021), A TOP-40 coin with a fiercely loyal community
Here's the wild Part 👇, it died from NEGLECT, not fraud: → NO FUNDING: no company, no marketing budget → couldn't compete for attention → NO BINANCE LISTING: Tate said Binance wanted huge fees DGB "flat out couldn't" pay → never listed → POLONIEX DELISTING: a founder thread blasting "corruption" ended with Poloniex delisting DGB → FOUNDER STEPPED BACK (2020): Tate quit his front-facing role citing "greed and rampant pillaging" → DGB dropped ~20% → Rudderless, underfunded, cut off from TOP exchanges → slowly bled ~98%
Today: ~$0.0042 (down ~98% from ATH), ~$79M market cap, A fair, respected OG project the market left behind.
Lesson for my CryptoPatel Family: 👉 "FAIR + REAL TECH" IS NOT ENOUGH TO WIN. No scam, no premine, genuine innovation, still -98%. Clean can still die. 👉 NO FUNDING = NO ABILITY TO COMPETE. "No VCs" sounds safe, but it means no money for listings, marketing, growth. Funding cuts both ways. 👉 EXCHANGE ACCESS IS SURVIVAL. No Binance + a Poloniex delisting crippled liquidity. A coin nobody can easily buy fades. 👉 FOUNDER STABILITY MATTERS. A founder at war with the industry, or one who quits, leaves a project rudderless. 👉 A LOYAL COMMUNITY IS NOT A PRICE FLOOR. Devotion doesn't defy neglect and dilution.
Not every dead coin is a scam. Some just get left behind, underfunded, rudderless, cut off from the exchanges and attention that move markets. "Good and fair" is where you START research, not where you finish.
