Before my GN, today's crypto highlights:

- Bitcoin fell to a 17-day low near $82,000 and now trades at $80,966, down 2.9% in 24 hours, as oil above $102 and rising Treasury yields hit risk assets.

- US spot Bitcoin ETFs lost $484.9 million on Wednesday, their biggest daily outflow since June, led by BlackRock's IBIT at $207.7 million. Bitcoin closed below the $84,318 ETF cost basis.

- Glassnode said combined spot and ETF volume averaged about $6.8 billion a day, lower than on nine in ten days since January 2024, with about $4.9 billion of fresh capital in 30 days.

- Ethereum slid toward $2,500 and trades at $2,432, down 5.3%, as US spot Ether ETFs posted a seventh straight day of outflows, including $160.9 million on Wednesday.

- BitMine chairman Tom Lee said at TOKEN2049 that the company will stop buying Ethereum once it holds 5% of supply, roughly 88,586 ETH above its current 6,016,414 ETH.

- Hyperliquid Labs unstaked 3.75 million HYPE, about $330 million, for an over-the-counter sale to an institution. Five addresses took half, terms are undisclosed and HYPE fell below $90.

- XRP slid below its $1.50 support to $1.35 and Solana fell to $109, while XRP ETF inflows dropped 94% week over week to under $4.75 million.

- Securitize launched tokenized US stocks on Solana, starting with 12 names including Apple, Nvidia and Tesla, each backed one-for-one by real shares and carrying dividends and voting rights.

- ESMA told MiCA-authorised firms to stop services involving non-compliant stablecoins such as USDT, letting existing holders sell, convert or withdraw only until January 8, 2027.

- The US government moved 17,795 BTC worth about $1.5 billion to Coinbase Prime over three days, including coins tied to the Bitfinex hack recovery. No sale has been confirmed. https://x.com/BroosterWeb3/status/2108228859904524776

## @stacy_muur (Stacy Muur) · 10-08 17:17 · ♥47 ↻11 💬17 I've said before, and I'll say it again, most people won't go out of their way to learn about crypto, so putting stablecoins inside products they already use is the best way to go.

@Visa found that 69% of people surveyed globally care more about who offers a new way to move money than the technology behind it.

In the US, the percentage of people willing to use stablecoins also went from 36% to 45% when offered through an existing financial provider.

You get the gist.

Make crypto easier to access, and the market gets bigger.

It's that easy.

## @glassnode (glassnode) · 10-08 16:56 · ♥59 ↻6 💬14 Existing holders have been carrying this bitcoin:native rally.

The realized cap keeps climbing while new money from ETFs, stablecoins and treasuries is dropping.

The 2024 and 2025 rallies showed the same gap, but on far larger inflows. A pickup in new money would put real demand behind BTC. https://x.com/glassnode/status/2108240214863061490
