More than two dozen players were one ball away from winning the grand prize, but there was no winner of the $298 million Powerball jackpot for the drawing held on Saturday, Sept. 19.
That means the drawing on Monday, Sept. 21 will be worth $313 million, with a cash option of $133.6 million.

Powerball winners for Sept. 19:
- While there was no grand prize winner, one player matched all five white balls to win a $1 million prize. That ticket was sold in New York.
- However, that player did not play the Power Play option, which would have increased their winnings to $2 million.
- Thirty players matched four white balls and the Powerball to win $50,000. Seven of those players also played the Power Play option, which increased their winnings to $100,000.
- A total of 674,189 winning tickets were sold, with players winning a combined $6,528,922 in prizes.
Powerball drawings take place every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday night at 10:59 p.m. ET. Tickets cost $2 each.
Powerball is offered in 45 states, Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands and the U.K. Players select five white numbers from 1 to 69 and one red ball from 1 to 26. The odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 292 million.
