Data centers are the most unpopular thing going, despite benefits. https://t.co/pPMFh45MFU https://x.com/nickgillespie/status/2102119010586214692

## @Richard_TGL (Robert O. Michael) · 09-21 15:57 · ♥30 ↻7 💬4 $IREN With October just around the corner, it’s worth offering a friendly reminder. 1. IREN typically releases the previous month's operational data during the first few business days of the current month. As of the end of August, only $1 billion of its $4 billion in contracted ARR was actually operational. September marks a critical push to convert offline GPUs into realized revenue; if the report shows operational ARR significantly exceeding $1 billion, it will directly refute short-seller allegations that the contracts would not materialize.

2. Following the successful delivery of Horizon 1, construction of Horizon 2—a 50MW liquid-cooled data center designed to host Microsoft’s computing capacity—is nearing completion, with an official announcement of its finish and handover expected at any time over the coming month. https://x.com/Richard_TGL/status/2102064702063026272

## @StanNRGY (Stan) · 09-22 04:06 · ♥34 ↻3 💬0 Gov. Abbott just froze new Texas data-center permits until the ERCOT audit (~Dec). That’s a speed bump for speculators and a tailwind for $IREN and $CIFR.

Both already have live, approved Texas megawatts (Childress/Sweetwater + Black Pearl/Odessa). Scarce grid + water rules make existing powered sites more valuable. IREN has the Microsoft deal and energized campuses. CIFR is delivering HPC revenue and building behind-the-meter gas. https://x.com/StanNRGY/status/2102248072898085231
