What is the Hotel Lobby video?

It’s a short two-person performance around a single hanging microphone that took off as a trend. This generator keeps the original moves, camera and music, and swaps the two performers for characters you upload.

Which images work best?

One character per image, full body from head to feet, facing the camera, on a plain background. JPG, PNG or WebP, at least 128 × 128 pixels and up to 20 MB each. The left image plays stage left and the right image plays stage right.

Can I use photos of real people?

Only if you have their permission to use their likeness, and never images of anyone under 18. Don’t present generated videos of real people as genuine or as an endorsement. See our Terms of Service for the full rules.

How much does a video cost?

HD 1080p costs 40 credits per second: 200 credits for 5 seconds, 400 for 10 seconds and 960 for the full 24-second performance. Preview 720p costs 30 credits per second. Credits come in one-time packs — no subscription. New accounts get 150 free credits, enough for one 5-second 720p preview. Purchased credits are valid for 12 months; free credits for 30 days.

How long does it take?

Usually 5–10 minutes for a 5-second HD video, 8–15 minutes for 10 seconds and 10–20 minutes for the full 24 seconds. Preview 720p takes about 3–8 minutes. Busy periods can take longer.

Can I close the tab while it renders?

Yes. Your video keeps rendering on our servers and is saved to your account. Sign in on any device later and you’ll see its latest status, or the finished video.

What happens if a generation fails?

Credits are only held while your video renders. If it fails for any reason, the held credits go straight back to your balance.

Is the original music included?

Yes. Every video is cut to the original timeline and the original audio is laid back in, so the moves stay in sync with the song.

Do I need an account?

You can explore the studio and examples without one. To generate or buy credits, sign in with Google — it’s the only sign-in option, and it keeps your videos and credits in one place.

Is this affiliated with COLORS or the original artists?

No. Hotel Lobby Generator is an independent tool and isn’t affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by COLORS, the original performers or their rights holders.
