been seeing people wait for $MNTD before paying attention to MINT, and i think that misses the more interesting part...
@PlayOnMint already has Season 1 running.
your activity is already turning into XP
XP is feeding the leaderboard
and the leaderboard is expected to matter for the first $MNTD allocation after TGE.
what makes the setup interesting is that the activity is not limited to one product.
casino
sports
prediction markets
games
all feeding into the same progression system.
so the token is basically the later checkpoint.
the activity is happening first.
$MNTD is planned for Q4 2026, with staking expected to connect the token with Status levels and ecosystem perks later on.
there is also a 4,444-piece MintABear collection coming to Robinhood, which gives the ecosystem another layer beyond the token itself.
but right now i would keep the thesis much simpler:
use MINT
build XP
watch the leaderboard
understand where you actually stand
then let the token come when it comes.
waiting for TGE to start paying attention feels backwards when the part that potentially shapes your allocation is already running.

MintABear is planned to mint on Robinhood, while $MNTD is on Base — two different chains within the same ecosystem.
But the NFT has its own progression layer too.
Bears start at Level 1, and burning $MNTD can move them up to Level 5. Higher levels carry more royalty weight, while holding multiple Bears can increase participation in the royalty pool.
When a Bear is resold, royalties are generated and distributed through ETH + $MNTD.
That makes the core loop pretty interesting:
Bear traded → royalties generated → ETH + $MNTD distributed → level affects share
And this sits separately from XP, MINT Status and raffle mechanics.
