It treats Bitcoin as something you can actually use.
Once BTC becomes strkBTC on Starknet, it can interact with the DeFi ecosystem.
Depending on the application, that can mean:
→ lending → liquidity → staking → borrowing against collateral
So instead of thinking about BTC only as an asset to hold, strkBTC opens another question:
“What could I actually do with my Bitcoin onchain?”
That’s the BTCFi thesis behind @Starknet .
