1:1 USD in and out, no mint/burn fee, usable through Coinbase, Stripe, Visa and Mastercard

less friction when moving size. that’s the part I care about

## @Jimmyy_yyyy (Jimmyyy) · 10-01 08:20 · ♥47 ↻9 💬0 Everyone is sleeping on $VELO.

Velo is focused on a very practical crypto problem: moving value across borders faster, cheaper, and with better settlement infrastructure.

Cross-border payments are still slow, expensive, and full of intermediaries.

That is especially true in regions where people regularly send money internationally, businesses settle in multiple currencies, and access to efficient financial rails is uneven.

Velo is building a settlement network that combines crypto liquidity, tokenized real-world assets, and payment infrastructure.

The goal is not just to make a token move from wallet A to wallet B.

The bigger goal is to make cross-border value transfer and settlement work in a way that can connect traditional finance with onchain markets.

$VELO has historically played a collateral role in the protocol’s digital-credit system.

That matters because the token’s use case is connected to creating and stabilizing financial credits, not just governance theater.

The bull case is that real payment and settlement volume eventually matters more than short-term speculation.

The risk is that payments is an extremely competitive business. Great technology is not enough—you need partners, compliance, liquidity, distribution, and users who actually choose the network.

But I like projects tackling boring, expensive problems with a real product angle.

The market loves narratives. The world still needs settlement.

Do you think cross-border PayFi can become a major crypto sector, or will stablecoins alone capture most of that demand?

## @TheCrypticWolf1 (𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐂𝐫𝐲𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐖𝐨𝐥𝐟) · 10-01 07:20 · ♥40 ↻11 💬1 $DEXTF just got a lot more interesting with Memento’s latest Confido update.

The part I’m paying attention to is the new Confido Fee. As more value moves through Confido, fees are generated across assets like BTC, ETH, stablecoins, tokenized stocks and RWAs.

Those fees are then used to buy DEXTF from the open market, with the DEXTF going into the Revenue Share Model.

That’s a pretty important connection. Confido gets more usage, fees are generated from that activity, and DEXTF becomes part of the process.

It gives the token an actual connection to the growth of the product instead of just relying on speculation around future adoption.

Now we get to see what happens as Confido scales.

The flywheel is in motion. > 引用 @Memento_Bc: Memento Confido is the engine for compliant onchain privacy.

Today we're introducing what keeps it running: the Confido Fee 💵

Applied as a % of the asset value transferred through Confido and collected in every supported asset: $BTC, $ETH, $USDC, $USDT, tokenized stocks, tokenized RWAs, and more.

Fueling DEXTF buybacks from the open market, with the purchased DEXTF funding the Revenue Share Model (RSM) and powering the value-accrual flywheel 🔄

Scaling with the volume processed on Confido, so DEXTF value capture grows with every transfer.

More private transfers → more Confido Fees → more DEXTF buybacks → more DEXTF for the RSM → a stronger flywheel.

Confido grows, $DEXTF captures it 📈 https://x.com/TheCrypticWolf1/status/2105558341464269195
