Farside reports $102.7m of net inflows into US spot BTC ETFs on October 1. BlackRock's IBIT took in $195.6m, while the other tracked BTC funds combined lost $92.9m.
ETH ETFs lost another $55.4m, their third consecutive session of net outflows.
Yesterday I was looking for BTC and ETH funds to return to net buying together. Thursday met only the BTC side of that test. The improvement is real, but demand remains uneven within the ETF channel.
US jobs data arrives today at 08:30 ET. Over the next 24-72 hours, Friday's flow totals will show whether this recovery broadens before the weekend. Net buying across the other BTC funds combined, alongside positive ETH flows, would weaken my cautious read. Renewed BTC outflows or continued ETH withdrawals would reinforce it.
