## @princeNFA (Prince) · 10-02 05:02 · ♥112 ↻10 💬110 Meme morning, Friends.

You need to see this...

BTC before Starknet is saying something like, “GM. I will just sit here & do nothing.”

But after BTC discovered strkBTC, he switched to “Wait… I can actually go somewhere?”

That is indeed the fun part of this journey with @Starknet.

You start with BTC in your wallet, bridge it into Starknet & receive strkBTC, but suddenly, your BTC has options like:

1️⃣ Wanna earn? Just explore supported DeFi opportunities.

2️⃣ Wanna trade? Just swap strkBTC across Starknet like Mark

3️⃣ Want more privacy for certain activities? All you need to do is shield it with supported wallets.

No, your BTC did not suddenly become magic money. 😂

It simply became more usable.

BTC came to Starknet with one job.

Now it has a whole career.

Do you feel this? https://x.com/princeNFA/status/2105886133787730360

## @zondaxx (乙𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐚✎) · 10-02 04:59 · ♥94 ↻31 💬62 We already know Bitcoin is valuable.

but there's more to it when it involves the btc on starknet which is the strkbtc

~ strkBTC is backed 1:1 by BTC,

but inside @Starknet it becomes usable across a broader financial ecosystem.

you can trade it, provide liquidity, lend or borrow, stake it and use it across DeFi.

And now there's another layer which is the privacy layer

Through STRK20, strkBTC can be shielded,

keeping balances and transactions from public view while still allowing you to use the asset.

~ So Starknet in the case, they let btc do more than a chain

making it programmable, productive, and optionally private too

You should take a dive into Starknet > 引用 @zondaxx: Your BTC balance doesn't really have to be an open book.

normally Bitcoin is transparent by design,

and anyone can look at the blockchain and see wallet balances and transaction history.

But with @Starknet privacy infrastructure,

strkBTC can support shielded transactions,

giving users an option to keep certain transaction details private.

And yeah, the privacy isn't necessarily a must requirement, it’s choice

so you can still interact with the ecosystem while having the option to shield your BTC activity when you need it.

you definitely wouldn’t want to miss out on what starknet is cooking for BTC https://x.com/zondaxx/status/2105885381530972466

## @deprofus (Mfon®️. 0% Fees On Coinup) · 10-02 04:55 · ♥97 ↻19 💬75 What is IBVM?

@IBVMCHAIN (International Bitcoin Virtual Machine) is a Bitcoin Layer 2 built to make Bitcoin programmable.

It combines ZK-STARK rollups with EVM compatibility, enabling developers to build DeFi, dApps, smart contracts and other applications using Bitcoin as the foundation.

The goal: bring Bitcoin’s security and liquidity into a faster, cheaper, smart-contract environment.

In simple terms:

Bitcoin = foundation IBVM = execution layer ZK = scalability EVM = developer compatibility

## @MuriscoOfficial (MURISCO) · 10-02 04:43 · ♥79 ↻2 💬83 btc has never really had a shortage of holders.

the bigger question is what those holders can actually do with it without having to sell it first.

and this is actually where @Starknet comes into the BTCFi picture.

with strkBTC, you can bring btc from your own wallet into Starknet and keep that btc exposure while accessing things that normally sit outside the bitcoin experience.

trade it, use it across supported DeFi apps, explore staking or other ways to put it to work, and use shielding where available if you want more control over what your activity exposes publicly.

so for someone who’s been holding btc for the long term, Starknet isn’t asking you to stop being a btc holder.

it’s giving that btc somewhere to actually be used.

that’s the part of BTCFi i find most useful.

if you need an instructions on how to get started, check my article on "How to bring btc into Starknet with strkBTC" I'll drop it in the comment section. https://x.com/MuriscoOfficial/status/2105881279312937362

## @AvgJoesCrypto (AJC) · 10-01 22:43 · ♥70 ↻3 💬5 Listen to the intern

ethereum:0xe76c6c83af64e4c60245d8c7de953df673a7a33d > 引用 @RailgunIntern: Intern has a short/mid and long term $RAIL thesis.

In the short term, the app eco continues to grow with bootstrap wallets commanding current private volume (railway, terminal, anon, railoxide, faceless, and many more), and these far exceed plebian expectations. Railgun Lindy effect is too strong now. The people who blatantly hate it cant stop it. The people who pretend to like it but hate it can't stop it. Because its decentralized so fuck all of them. The existing Railgun SDK offers integration and the Railgun ZK proofs continue to trump ZK DeFi composability without fixed pool amounts. Any amount, any stable, any token, in, out, any app. Nothing like it, period. So the Lindy grows.

In the mid term, innovative SDKs like Kohaku and Reloaded make Railgun easy to integrate into both large frontrunner wallets and small startup apps. @hisoka_io solving network and data layer privacy + ETH L1 making massive upgrades. This is where it gets fun and the ETH can't be money folks get wrecked. Users get privacy optionality in a default ETH privacy context. They get to choose between various levels of compliance/proof/set type (pp, tornado, railgun) and get to do so with friction like broadcasters (relayers) largely removed by a private mempool and other L1 upgrades. In short, Ethereum offers the most dynamic, useable, composable, feature rich, and flavor rich privacy ever conceived. It shines in being exactly what a privacy token isn't. Make no mistake, monolithic privacy is a fools errand. Conditionally non conditional privacy is a fools errand, a virtue signal with no steam. Optionality is where ETH shines. Protocol and Chain privacy become harmonious with native private transfers + tools like Railgun are used for seamless DeFi and compliance optionality. Default privacy is removing friction, not protocols. Few understand. Top of my target list for Kohaku are @ambire & @cakewallet given Kohaku is porting to Rust. Wallets like Rabby/Metamask may be false hope as they appear to give 0 fucks about data privacy but we'll see. But don't be stupid here, widen your time horizon and trust the existing flywheel.

In the long term (maybe even mid term), my bet is on the dark horses. A strong ecosystem of applications, new breakthrough wallets with strong nimble teams take more and more market share and. Wallets like @anondotinc @railoxide open source/assert dominance as UX winners and other new wallets solve problems archaic/congested teams are simply too sluggish or high horsed to solve. We already see it. As ETH L1 privacy becomes easier and easier to access, more users explore these feature rich options. Including crypto card onboarding, mobile, and ZK tech being deeply integrated into the debanked experience.

Most of you think too small. You're the fat lady sitting in McDonalds wondering why anyone would ever use a credit card when they can use cash. Intern has a 10 year+ scope, sitting pretty with staked $RAIL, harvesting tri token rewards in $DAI, $ETH, and $RAIL every two weeks. I'll be bill gates by the time you've finished your big Mac challenge and the real adoption hits so hfsp. https://x.com/AvgJoesCrypto/status/2105790758573793579
