## @binance (Binance) · 09-26 00:00 · ♥112 ↻22 💬63 Not every crypto scam involves hacking.

Address poisoning attacks rely on lookalike wallet addresses and human error. A single copy-paste mistake can send funds to a scammer — and blockchain transactions can't be reversed.

Crypto payments still have a basic privacy problem one wallet address can expose a long history of activity.

Thats what caught my attention about @Americanfort_io

With FortressName, you can receive payments through a readable name while each payment can use a fresh destination address.

So the name stays simple, while the payment history isnt tied to one public address.

Send-to Name also removes the need to copy and paste long wallet addresses, which can reduce the risk of address poisoning mistakes.

Then theres SafeSend, which takes the idea further with selective verification while keeping the broader payment history private. Its still in development, so the real test will come when it goes live.

The interesting part isnt just hiding an address.

Its trying to make privacy, usability and accountability work together.

What part of Americanfort_io interests you most FortressName, Send to Name, or SafeSend?

I used to think checking the first and last few characters was enough before sending crypto.

Then I started thinking about address poisoning.

@Americanfort_io takes a simpler approach with Send-to-Name™: send to a readable FortressName instead of copying a long wallet address.

Each payment gets a fresh one-time address, while your FortressName doesn’t publicly expose one fixed wallet, balance, or payment history.

Sometimes better security is simply removing the risky step.

Would you rather use a readable name than keep checking wallet addresses? https://x.com/0xshitol/status/2103654291257045021

## @Vanquan_titans (Van Quan) · 09-25 21:56 · ♥25 ↻0 💬27 Building a truly private Web3 payment infrastructure means tackling fundamental UX issues. @Americanfort_io white-label SDK approach is fascinating because it integrates directly into existing wallets and chains. This means no forced migrations or separate apps.

Right now, their FortressName and Send-to-Name™ are live across 13 chains, letting users send funds to human-readable names instead of just wallet addresses. This immediately eliminates the nagging worry of address poisoning. Plus, the underlying tech uses one-time stealth addresses for each transaction, which is key for keeping your financial activity confidential.

Looking ahead, SafeSend™ is set to leverage Zero-Knowledge proofs for even deeper privacy, ensuring transactions are accountable and selective disclosure is possible, all without pooling funds. They're also exploring post-quantum cryptography with QBIP-32 and ZKPoSP, aiming to secure existing assets without requiring users to move anything. It's about enhancing privacy and security where you already are. https://x.com/Vanquan_titans/status/2103604460941357058
