نشر الجمهوريون في مجلس الشيوخ نصاً بديلاً لـ "قانون الوضوح" - يقع في 630 صفحة - على الموقع الإلكتروني للسيناتور "لوميس" قبيل التصويت المقرر في 15 سبتمبر.
وقد ظلت بنود القسم "C" المتعلقة بقواعد الأخلاقيات، وحظر العوائد على العملات المستقرة (stablecoins)، والنصوص الخاصة بحماية المطورين، كما كانت عليه في شهر يوليو.
