## @web3eminent (Eminent) · 09-24 04:04 · ♥67 ↻23 💬41 structured notes are a $500B+ market.
on-chain structured notes? almost nowhere.
that’s not a product gap. that’s an infrastructure gap.
traditional structured notes grew around one piece of infrastructure: THE BANK.
> the bank structures the payoff.
> the bank sits between both sides.
> the bank manages the embedded option.
> the bank handles the settlement.
take the bank out of the picture and the missing infrastructure becomes obvious.
who matches the two sides?
who holds the collateral?
who determines when the barrier is breached?
who settles the payoff?
Robinhood Chain already has spot markets, perps, stock-collateral lending, vanilla options and index vaults.
structured notes are still missing.
@notesystems is building that layer for autocallable barrier notes using Robinhood Chain Stock Tokens.
this thread breaks down how the system works and why bringing the machinery on-chain makes sense. 🧵 https://x.com/web3eminent/status/2102972383170560133

## @DioeconmeXBT (Kryptonite) · 09-24 04:45 · ♥41 ↻0 💬42 really important distinction here regarding the @PlayOnMint and robinhood news. there is a massive difference between launching a token on a permissionless "robinhood chain" versus getting an official asset listing on the robinhood consumer app.
the former is a technical deployment on a new network infrastructure, while the latter is a direct pipeline to millions of retail brokerage accounts.
if $MNTD is indeed moving toward the robinhood chain ecosystem, there are a few key elements we should be watching closely: liquidity architecture: where does the initial liquidity pool live, and how seamless is the onboarding experience for users who aren't familiar with bridging? multi-chain strategy: what does this mean for the existing plans on base? will there be a unified liquidity layer or split pools? official contracts: we need to see the actual deployment details to understand how the token utility maps across these environments.
it's definitely an exciting development and shows a lot of forward-thinking, but keeping a clear head about technical execution vs retail marketing hype is super important here. looking forward to seeing how the team navigates this next chapter. https://x.com/DioeconmeXBT/status/2102982709647900861

beyond the robinhood name connection, it was also the first major runner on the chain and the first real “robinhood chain leader”
that history is hard to recreate https://t.co/iC9k0irQVL https://x.com/Drallio/status/2102996450460278802
