The more I look into the latest @PlayOnMint updates, the more I understand why MintABear is built around progression rather than simple collecting.
What caught my attention is how several parts of the ecosystem appear to connect without being the same thing.
Season 1 XP is expected to have a relationship with $MNTD, while the TGE is currently listed for Q4 and the token is planned for Robinhood.
That gives the system a clearer structure.
For me, the easiest way to think about it is:
XP represents progression.
$MNTD represents the token layer.
Bear levels represent advancement.
Status represents the position attached to that progression.
The Bear system adds another interesting layer.
Holding one Bear connects to Status, while moving through higher levels can introduce additional progression and potentially influence royalty weight.
Then there are the additional Bears.
They are not simply duplicates sitting in a wallet.
According to the current mechanics, extra Bears can have relevance for raffles and secondary royalty opportunities.
Understanding those distinctions changed how I look at the project.
Previously, I was putting XP, Bears, Status, royalties, and the token into one mental bucket.
Now I see them more as separate components that interact with each other.
That makes the model easier to follow and also makes the progression feel more intentional.
I think this is important because complicated systems become much easier to understand when each part has a clear role.
I am still watching how the mechanics develop as the project moves toward the next stages.
The interesting part for me is seeing whether the connection between participation, progression, ownership, and rewards becomes as practical as the current structure suggests.
For now, I am focused on understanding the mechanics first rather than getting carried away by expectations.
