## @Dany_Crypto1 (DANY) · 10-08 13:50 · ♥57 ↻1 💬74 Traditional Real Estate is valuable, but difficult to integrate with digital financial infrastructure.

Tokenization changes that.

RNT Lend, developed in collaboration with @Aave, allows supported Real Estate tokens to interact directly with lending markets.

Liquidity providers can also supply stablecoins and potentially earn additional yield generated by borrowing demand.

Current scale: $29.30M Market Size $20.14M TVL

RWA is becoming a two-sided financial market. > 引用 @rntprotocol: Quick look at RNT Lend.

- $30M+ total market size - $9M+ borrowed against real estate collateral - 100+ real estate assets listed - 12% APY for USDT suppliers, variable, paid by borrowers and accruing every block on Polygon - 75% max LTV, the same for every property

Built with @aave and approved by Aave governance.

## @Elikrypt (ΞLIKRYPTO) · 10-08 15:31 · ♥55 ↻1 💬20 I was scrolling through CT when a few DeFi numbers made me stop.

People were still talking about 2026 like it was just a continuation of 2025.

So I started checking lending, liquid staking, restaking, DEXs, perps, stablecoins, RWAs and TVL.

The more I looked, the clearer it became:

DeFi did not move in one direction.

Some sectors expanded. Some contracted.

Here’s what stood out ↓↓

⸻

➥ LENDING

Lending TVL grew from $48.2B to $64.1B in 2025.

2026 remained strong, but growth became more concentrated.

Aave stayed dominant while Morpho gained ground.

The story shifted from broad expansion to stronger competition.

➥ LIQUID STAKING

Liquid staking was around $58B in 2025 and about $51.9B by September 2026.

The category got smaller.

Yet that $51.9B generated roughly $27.4M in weekly fees.

TVL tells you how much capital is there, not how productive it is.

➥ RESTAKING

Restaking went from $23.9B to $18.8B during 2025.

By September 2026, it was around $10B.

Roughly $10B generated only about $100K in weekly fees.

The points-driven demand faded, exposing the economics underneath.

➥ DEXs

Q3 DEX volume increased from $636B to $722B, while protocol fees rose about 15%.

But competition increased too.

Uniswap remained a major venue while other protocols captured more activity and fees.

➥ PERPS

Q3 volume fell from $1.81T to $1.62T even as DeFi TVL recovered.

Hyperliquid remains a major exception, but the broader perp market did not show the same strength.

Recovering TVL was not automatically translating into higher trading activity.

➥ STABLECOINS

Stablecoin supply expanded strongly through 2025.

In 2026, growth slowed dramatically and became close to flat.

Stablecoins form the liquidity base for much of DeFi.

On this front, 2025 was clearly stronger.

➥ RWAs

Private credit nearly doubled from $9.8B to $18.7B in 2025.

Tokenized Treasuries grew from $3.9B to $9.1B.

Then RWA value increased 22.8% in Q3 2026, from $31.5B to $38.6B.

RWAs are moving beyond simply putting traditional assets onchain.

They are becoming collateral, credit and productive liquidity.

⸻

Then I looked at DeFi TVL.

DeFi TVL fell from the low $120Bs to around $69B in H1 2026 before recovering to roughly $95.4B in Q3.

But Lido gave me a reason to look deeper.

Its dollar TVL increased about 82% from June to September.

Measured in ETH, the increase was only 7.7%.

So part of the recovery was simply ETH becoming more valuable.

⸻

➥ MY VERDICT

2025 was the better year for DeFi expansion.

Lending grew, stablecoin liquidity expanded and new sectors attracted capital aggressively.

2026 was the better year for finding out what actually works.

Restaking weakened. Stablecoin growth slowed. Perp activity cooled. DEX competition increased. RWAs became more useful.

The market became much harder to impress with TVL alone.

That is probably the biggest difference between the two years.

I’ll be checking @aave, @Morpho, @Uniswap, @HyperliquidX, @maplefinance, @ethena and a few others next.

Not just to see who has the biggest numbers.

I want to see who is actually capturing the value they create, how sustainable that revenue is, and whether the token economics make sense. https://x.com/Elikrypt/status/2108218661529927953
