Konkret geht es also nicht nur um klassische Plattformen, auf denen man Kryptowährungen verleiht oder leiht. Auch die Schnittstelle zu dezentralen Anwendungen könnte künftig unter neue Regeln fallen.
Zusätzlich fordert die EBA klarere Regeln für die Einordnung von Kryptowerten und strengere Vorgaben für Stablecoins, die innerhalb und außerhalb der EU von mehreren Gesellschaften ausgegeben werden.
