As an individual, you're not the one preventing a flash loan exploit directly - the protocol's own code has to defend against price manipulation within a single transaction, usually by using robust, decentralized oracles instead of a single thin liquidity pool that can be briefly manipulated. That defense either exists in the code or it doesn't, and there's nothing a user-side habit can do to add it after the fact. ⚠️
What you actually control is where your capital sits. Favor protocols with a strong, transparent audit history from reputable firms, protocols that have publicly documented how their oracle design resists manipulation, and be meaningfully more cautious with newer, less battle-tested lending or AMM protocols holding large amounts of your capital, no matter how attractive the yield looks. ✅
