Bayonetta will join Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds as the first free character update of year two, SEGA announced.
The new Bayonetta content will include Bayonetta as a playable character, the Butterfly Witch machine, and special emotes and sounds.
The Bayonetta teaser trailer also reveals further gameplay footage from the previously announced Godzilla and Evangelion downloadable content packs. The Godzilla Pack includes the new Godzilla Escape course, as well as the Godzilla Cruiser, King Ghidorah Coupe, and Mothra Surf machines. The Evangelion Pack includes the Tokyo-III course, EVA-01 (Test Type), EVA-00 (Proto Type), and EVA-02 (Production Model) machines, and Rei Ayanami and Asuka Shikinami Langley playable characters.
More details on year two for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds will be announced during the World Championship Finals and Year Two Showcase live stream on October 9.
Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is available now for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch 2, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.
