Ledger security incident affects a dormant wallet, causing loss of 59 ETH

PANews reported on October 10 that, according to Lookonchain monitoring, a user lost 59 ETH, worth about $146,800, after a Ledger security incident attack following a switch to a new wallet.

It is reported that the old wallet had been safely stored for more than 8 years and had been inactive for over 4 years. A month ago, after the user transferred assets to a new wallet, the attacker subsequently stole all of the ETH.
