## @Bas_Basterx (Baster) · 10-01 04:48 · ♥80 ↻1 💬93 Data Feeds Should Feel Native

One hidden problem in DeFi is that blockchains can execute quickly while still waiting on external data.

Prices, market events, and real-world information often arrive through separate oracle infrastructure.

@RialoHQ Stream explores a different approach bringing data feeds closer to the execution layer itself.

The idea is simple.

If applications can access fresh data with less middleware between the source and execution, DeFi, RWA, and other real-time applications could react faster and with less infrastructure complexity.

Rialo claims Stream can deliver significantly lower latency than traditional oracle setups.

But speed alone does not make a data feed trustworthy.

A price can arrive in milliseconds and still be wrong.

The harder questions are:

Where does the data come from? How is it verified? What happens when sources disagree? What happens when an API fails, gets manipulated, or becomes unavailable?

This is why I think Rialo Stream is interesting beyond the latency numbers.

Moving data closer to execution could improve the developer experience, but it also moves more responsibility into the protocol itself.

The real achievement will not simply be making data arrive faster.

It will be making fast data reliable enough to safely trigger execution. https://x.com/Bas_Basterx/status/2105520204533072300

## @Lowdef1 (Low DeFi) · 10-01 05:31 · ♥73 ↻2 💬0 A hardware wallet shouldn’t be something you forget in a drawer.

That’s the idea behind the @Tangem Card.

It’s a bank-card-sized NFC hardware wallet where your private keys are generated and kept on the secure chip. No screen. No battery. No Bluetooth.

Just tap your phone to use it.

And the backup model is simple:

2–3 identical cards can hold the same wallet, so a backup can stay somewhere safe instead of becoming an afterthought.

Add the 25-year warranty and the physical design starts to make even more sense.

A USB stick looks like a device.

A bank card feels like something you can actually carry.

And now the card can connect the vault to everyday spending too.

Fund Tangem Pay directly from your wallet with supported USDT or USDC on networks including Base, Arbitrum, BNB Chain and Polygon through LiFi, with 1:1 funding.

Store. Tap. Spend.

October is a good time to rethink what a hardware wallet is supposed to look like.

Cold storage doesn’t have to mean leaving your wallet at home.
