## @_FinegirlDami (FinegirlDami🧚🏾💜) · 09-19 08:26 · ♥41 ↻6 💬36 Circle’s Arc mainnet is live, but what does that actually mean for stablecoins and the future of onchain payments?
Arc is Circle’s Layer 1 blockchain built with stablecoin finance in mind. there’s a lot more to understand than just another new chain launched.
I’ve put together a breakdown of what Arc is, how it works, what makes it different, and why it matters for builders and crypto users. I also cover Circle’s Facilitator Service and how it connects to x402 payments.
If you’ve been seeing Arc all over your timeline and wondering what the hype is about, this article is for you.

Arc is a new Layer 1 blockchain built by Circle, the company behind USDC, but what makes it different is that it was built specifically with stablecoin finance and the movement of money in mind rather than trying to be a network for everything.
The idea is to give developers and businesses infrastructure for things like payments, settlement, tokenized assets and other financial activities that can happen onchain.
Another reason Arc is getting attention is the institutions involved in the network, with Circle joined by founding validators including BlackRock, DTCC, Mastercard, Visa, Standard Chartered, MoneyGram and other major financial companies.
That tells you a lot about the direction Circle is taking with Arc and the kind of financial activity it wants the network to support. Circle first announced Arc in August 2025, launched the public testnet in October 2025 and today, September 16, 2026, the network is opening its public mainnet.
For me, the interesting part is watching what developers and financial institutions actually build on it now that it has moved beyond the testnet stage, especially as stablecoins continue becoming a bigger part of how money moves around the world.
There is a lot more to Arc than what I’ve covered here, including how the network works, why USDC is used for transaction fees, its approach to transaction finality, EVM compatibility, privacy and what Circle could be building toward with Arc.
I’ll be breaking all of that down in a detailed article on my Medium page, so if you want to properly understand Arc and why today’s mainnet launch matters, look out for the article. https://x.com/_FinegirlDami/status/2101226397209358642
## @Alaouicapital (Alaoui Capital) · 09-19 10:25 · ♥63 ↻2 💬14 Arc just live and @1inch was already there from hour one.
That’s probably the part i find most interesting.
Arc is built around stablecoins + real-world finance, and 1inch already has the whole stack running there: swaps, Wallet, Aqua and APIs.
So users can swap, LPs can provide liquidity, and builders can plug into routing without waiting for the ecosystem to mature.
But I’m mainly watching Aqua right now.
New chain means the liquidity map is still being built. There’s no long history of pools and established LPs fighting for the same flow yet.
If activity starts picking up, that early liquidity gap could get pretty interesting.
Not a promise of returns. Just a fresh chain where the game is still being figured out.
I’ll be watching where the liquidity goes before the timeline starts screaming about it.
https://t.co/Bz0AgYO69I > 引用 @1inch: 1inch is live on @arc. Full suite from launch: dApp, latest version of 1inch Wallet, Aqua, every API.
Arc is built for real world finance. Moving RWAs is already what we do best, now it runs on Arc.
Intent-based swaps, no gas fees, MEV protection. Cross-chain with no bridge.
For builders: swaps, quotes and routing behind one API key, with Aqua underneath for liquidity that’s already there. https://x.com/Alaouicapital/status/2101256281700835479
