## @dtrain22k (Dtrain22) · 10-01 18:43 · ♥76 ↻5 💬19 Btc is telling us we are at the start of the bull run. Onchain has been getting slaughtered for 2 weeks and what I’m seeing is that virtually everything can be vamped.

The only things that can’t be vamped are people.

@vutnerable is the hardest working artist in the meme coin space. You can’t vamp that. He simply out works everyone making great art day after day. Cets will win.

@PopPunkOnChain has spent a year building a new type of prediction market. Brought in a killer team and got backed by 3 premier VCs in crypto. You can’t vamp that. Pumpcade will win.

@0xbeans has been in crypto for 10 years, has a ton of defi experience so he knows what works and what doesn’t and how to build defi that is sustainable long term. His last venture he built an entire blockchain and sold it Igloo Inc. You can’t vamp that type of experience. Standard Reserve will win.

Ideas can be vamped. People can’t. https://x.com/dtrain22k/status/2105730273212006474

## @BitcoinTaxUK (🇬🇧 The Bitcoin & Crypto Accountant 🇬🇧🚀) · 10-01 19:46 · ♥70 ↻7 💬13 Your exchange has been gathering data on you since 1 January 2026, ready to send to HMRC.

The first batch, covering the 2026 calendar year, has to be sent by the end of May 2027.

Most holders have no idea. 🧵

The Cryptoasset Reporting Framework.

Name, address, tax reference and every exhchange transaction, collected now and reported in 2027.

Overseas exchanges in signatory countries will share data too. Moving platforms is not a hiding place.

If you sold, swapped or spent crypto in 2025/26 and have never filed Self Assessment but have exceeded the gains threshold, you must register with HMRC by 5 October. That's Sunday.

Crypto to crypto is a disposal.

Spending BTC is a disposal.

"I didn't cash out to GBP" does not mean no tax.

£3,000 annual exempt (Gains) amount. 18% or 24% CGT above it. Disposal proceeds over £50,000 must be reported even with no gain.

Once HMRC has CARF data, it can be matched against what you have already filed.

Coming forward voluntarily typically means lower penalties than HMRC contacting you first.

CARF isn't the only change. There are proposed changes to how DeFi lending and staking are taxed, plus new stablecoin rules from 2027.

We covered all of it today with @CryptoUKAssoc a webinar.

I'll post the recording link when possible.

Repost to help anyone who may not be aware.

Questions below, I'll answer as many as I can. https://x.com/BitcoinTaxUK/status/2105746079341818290
