## @0xALTF4 (ALTF4) · 10-01 09:03 · ♥122 ↻8 💬54 What makes @Starknet interesting for BTCFi isn’t just strkBTC itself.
It’s the stack forming around it.
→ Garden Finance for bridging BTC into Starknet → Vesu for crypto lending and borrowing → Endur for liquid staking → Ekubo for liquidity → avnu for trading → Troves for earn strategies → Xverse for shielding and private flows
That changes the conversation from:
“how do I get BTC onchain?”
to:
“what can I actually do with my BTC once it gets there?”
That second question is where BTCFi gets interesting.
strkBTC is starting to connect the whole flow in one ecosystem while letting users keep their BTC exposure.

DeFi involves smart contract, bridge, liquidity and market risk. Returns aren’t guaranteed. DYOR. https://x.com/0xALTF4/status/2105584319569797147

It turns complex on-chain strategies into simple, data-driven tools that anyone can explore.
From tracking performance to analysing risk and returns, Quant Al makes DeFi strategies understandable and accessible for everyone.

## @0xfrigg (Frigg 🌸) · 10-01 08:00 · ♥102 ↻9 💬48 I’ve spent the last few days actually using $strkBTC
I bridged native $BTC into @Starknet shielded it, sent it privately between two of my wallets, and finally staked it privately through Endur
at first I mostly saw this as a privacy feature for $BTC
after using it, I think the more interesting part is something else
I didn’t have to change the way I already use crypto just to get privacy
in Xverse, shielding basically feels like a toggle
a private transfer is still just Send
private staking on Endur is still pick the asset, hit Stake
under the hood there’s obviously much more going on ZK proofs, privacy pools, unshield ➛ stake ➛ re-shield.
but as a user, you barely feel any of that complexity
and I think that’s where the opportunity is
a lot of privacy products over the years have made you leave normal DeFi and move into a different wallet, different liquidity environment, or completely different UX
here, privacy is trying to become a state of the thing you already do, not somewhere else you have to go
and I think there’s something bigger than $BTC here too
$strkBTC is probably the easiest way to see it right now, but the broader STRK20 idea is to bring this model into ERC-20s and DeFi apps too
if that actually expands, the opportunity I see for Starknet is pretty simple:
public protocols, private users
the protocol state, contracts, liquidity and execution can still stay verifiable
but every wallet balance, counterparty and position doesn’t necessarily need to become a public profile for the entire internet
for larger holders, treasuries, or honestly just normal users who don’t want every financial move broadcast publicly, it’s not hard to see why that matters
I also don’t want to pretend it’s perfect
this is not anonymity
strkBTC has entry/exit screening, a viewing-key based compliance model, and complete privacy isn’t guaranteed
I got a small taste of that myself :)
after all these educational tests, one of the wallets I used got flagged by the strkBTC bridge compliance screening and is now blocked from the bridge interface
I genuinely don’t know if that had anything to do with the privacy tests, so I’m not going to pretend it did
but this is one part I think still needs to get better:
if privacy and compliance are going to live together, users need a much clearer way to understand why they were flagged and what they can do next
still, after actually using the stack for a few days, my takeaway is pretty simple:
the future of privacy is probably when people stop feeling like they’re using a privacy product
normal wallet
normal liquidity
normal DeFi
just without every move being public by default
that’s the part of Starknet I think is worth paying attention to right now
$strkBTC and DeFi involve bridge, smart contract, liquidity and market risks. complete privacy and returns aren’t guaranteed https://x.com/0xfrigg/status/2105568532666749395

I’ve been researching the latest developments around Zeru Finance. @zerufinance The era of credit scoring and uncollateralized borrowing in DeFi seems to be gaining real momentum with Zeru.
In traditional finance, lenders look at your credit score when you borrow, whereas in DeFi, all that mattered until now was how much collateral you could lock up.
Zeru Finance breaks this taboo by integrating an onchain reputation system directly into borrowing mechanics.
I think the system stands out through its unique angles and core architecture.
It looks like they’ve found a solution to the over collateralization deadlock.
The era of locking up $150 in collateral just to borrow $100 in DeFi is coming to an end.
Instead of keeping capital locked away, Zeru AI allows it to flow actively in the market, pushing capital efficiency to the maximum.
Privacy-focused onchain reputation is taking center stage, enter zScore.
Your wallet’s transaction history, liquidation record, and ecosystem interactions are analyzed by an AI driven zScore algorithm.
Without revealing your personal data, pure onchain metrics prove you're an honest user, and your borrowing limit is set accordingly.
Low risk wallets unlock higher credit limits, and thanks to an NFT based architecture, these limits can be delegated to other strategies or users.
Users can directly deploy the liquidity they borrow into integrated DeFi pools for leveraged strategies.
Zeru Finance turns our wallet addresses from mere anonymous keys into actual financial identities and reputation profiles onchain.
Since I believe uncollateralized lending will play a key role in DeFi’s next growth wave, I’m keeping a close eye on their progress. https://x.com/ShinyNfts/status/2105566214541996381

## @kingatod (𝖪𝗂𝗇𝗀𝖠𝗍𝗈𝖽🤴🏽) · 10-01 08:23 · ♥71 ↻4 💬30 Ethereum’s Layer 2s have a fragmentation problem.
Each rollup becomes its own island, making it harder to move capital, share liquidity and build DeFi across chains.
Base rollups aim to change that by making liquidity and applications more connected across the ecosystem.
Less fragmentation means better capital efficiency for DeFi.

## @DamiDefi (Dami-Defi) · 10-01 10:49 · ♥76 ↻7 💬4 Your vibe-coded app might already have 20 ways to get hacked.
Most aren't sophisticated exploits:
→ Exposed secrets → Broken access control → SQL injection → Weak auth → Unsafe file uploads → Missing rate limits → Outdated dependencies
The easiest move?
Give the entire codebase to Claude Code and have it audit all 20, fix what it can, then flag anything requiring your decision.
Vibe coding made shipping faster.
Now you need to make security part of the workflow too.
