🇨🇦 Atlético Ottawa - Literally owned by Atlético Madrid, only they play in the Canadian Premier League. Basically Atlético’s North American project.
🇳🇬 Enyimba - Won back-to-back African Champions Leagues in 2003 and 2004. Still the ONLY Nigerian club to win it.
🇧🇳 Brunei DPMM - A club from BRUNEI playing in the SINGAPORE league. One of those saves that just feels made for Football Manager.

🇵🇾 Cerro Porteño - One of Paraguay’s biggest clubs but they’ve NEVER reached a Libertadores final, despite making SIX semi-finals.
🇨🇴 Deportivo Cali - More than 106 BILLION Colombian pesos of liabilities put into a ten-year restructuring agreement. Forget wonderkids. Your first trophy is fixing the finances.
🇿🇦 TS Galaxy - Bought a second-tier licence in 2018, won the South African Cup while down there, then bought Highlands Park’s PREMIER LEAGUE status in 2020. Completely normal football club.
🇦🇿 Sabah FC - Champions League football for the first time in their history. Their manager also funded his coaching dream using winnings from Who Wants to Be a Millionaire.
🇦🇷 Deportivo Armenio - Founded to represent Argentina’s Armenian community. Only sign Argentine and Armenian players and lean fully into it.
🇿🇦 Kaizer Chiefs - One of Africa’s biggest-supported clubs finally reached their FIRST Champions League final in 2021, then lost it.
🇺🇾 Defensor Sporting - In 1976 they became the first club of Uruguay’s professional era to break the Nacional-Peñarol title monopoly. Time to do it again.
🇨🇮 ASEC Mimosas - Famous for producing generations of Ivorian talent. If you want an academy-first save in Africa, this might be THE one.
🇯🇵 Honda FC - Honda’s works team have been strong enough for the professional pyramid before but historically chose not to chase J.League promotion because it would change what the club is. Such a weird save.
🇦🇺 Central Coast Mariners - Their previous club entities went into liquidation in 2026 and the league temporarily took control. Rebuild it properly, ideally around their academy.
🇳🇬 Shooting Stars - Reached African finals in 1984 and 1996. Lost both.
🇨🇳 Shaanxi Union - A supporter-driven club created after years of chaos and failed teams in Shaanxi. Basically, build the club the region has been waiting for.
🇰🇿 Kairat Almaty - Became the EASTERNMOST club ever to play in the Champions League proper. Almaty is further east than parts of China.
🇧🇷 Santos - Recently escaped a transfer ban while still dealing with major financial issues, then filled the squad with expensive names on short deals. Win now without absolutely destroying the future.
🇿🇦 Cape Town Spurs - Spent two decades as Ajax Cape Town before Ajax ended the relationship. Now they’re Cape Town Spurs again and on their own.
🇮🇳 Real Kashmir - The FIRST club from Kashmir to reach India’s national top-level league structure.

🇲🇽 Chivas - One of Mexico’s biggest clubs, but traditionally only field Mexican players. Basically Mexico’s Athletic Club.

🇸🇦 NEOM SC - Al-Suqoor were moved into the NEOM project and rebranded. You’re basically building a football club for a brand-new city.
🇧🇷 Portuguesa - Relegated from Série A after losing FOUR points for fielding an ineligible player in 2013. That piece of admin started an unbelievable collapse.
🇰🇷 FC Anyang - Anyang LG moved to Seoul in 2004. Locals spent years fighting to get a club back and FC Anyang finally arrived in 2013. Become bigger than FC Seoul.
🇺🇾 Plaza Colonia - A tiny club from Colonia del Sacramento that somehow won the 2016 Clausura. Now try and properly break Montevideo’s grip on Uruguayan football.
🇨🇮 Stade d’Abidjan - African champions in 1965, the SECOND edition of the competition. One of Africa’s original giants.
🇿🇼 Dynamos Harare - Reached the African Champions League final in 1998. Zimbabwe has still never had a winner.
🇯🇵 Mito HollyHock - Spent TWENTY-SIX straight seasons in J2 before finally getting promoted to J1 for the first time in 2025. Please don’t send them straight back down.
🇮🇳 Mohun Bagan - In 1911, an Indian side playing largely barefoot beat a British regiment to win the IFA Shield. One of the most symbolic wins in Indian sporting history.
🇳🇿 Auckland City - Went to the Club World Cup with players who still had normal jobs as teachers, tradesmen and delivery drivers. Imagine beating Europe’s richest clubs with that.
🇫🇯 Bula FC - Brand-new club created to represent Fiji in Oceania’s FIRST EVER professional football league.
🇲🇽 Puebla - Mexican champions, cup winners and CONCACAF champions around their early-90s peak. Not been anywhere near that level for a long time.
🇻🇺 Amicale FC - A club from Vanuatu that reached TWO OFC Champions League finals and lost them both.
🇵🇬 PNG Hekari FC - Papua New Guinea’s FIRST EVER professional football team. You’re basically building a country’s professional football reputation from scratch.

🇵🇫 Tahiti United - The FIRST professional football club from Tahiti/French Polynesia. Take them from the middle of the Pacific to the Club World Cup.
🇫🇯 Ba FC - Reached the 2007 OFC Champions League final, WON the first leg and still lost the trophy on away goals.
🇨🇱 Palestino - Founded by members of Chile’s huge Palestinian community. One of the most distinctive identities in South American football.
🇸🇻 Alianza - Won CONCACAF in 1967. El Salvador has been waiting nearly 60 years for another continental champion.
🇸🇩 Al Hilal Omdurman - One of Africa’s biggest clubs to have NEVER won continental silverware. Lost African finals in 1987 and 1992.
🇵🇾 Guaraní - Won the VERY FIRST Paraguayan championship in 1906. Over 120 years later, go and win them the Libertadores.
🇸🇧 Solomon Kings FC - Brand-new professional club created to represent the Solomon Islands in the OFC Pro League. Almost zero history, so you get to make all of it.
🇹🇯 Istiqlol - Only founded in 2007, then rapidly dominated Tajikistan and reached TWO AFC Cup finals.

🇰🇪 Gor Mahia - Won the African Cup Winners’ Cup in 1987, still one of Kenyan club football’s greatest achievements.
🇵🇪 Deportivo Binacional - Won their FIRST Peruvian title in 2019 and became the first champions from the Puno region. Since then? Administrative chaos.
🇩🇿 JS Kabylie - FOURTEEN Algerian titles, TWO African Cups and THREE straight CAF Cups from 2000 to 2002. Massive club that rarely gets mentioned anymore.
🇦🇷 Patronato - Won the Copa Argentina in 2022 in the SAME SEASON they were relegated, so ended up playing Libertadores football as a second-tier club.
🇨🇴 América de Cali - Reached THREE straight Libertadores finals in 1985, 1986 and 1987. Lost every single one. Still never won it.
🇦🇷 Independiente - The “King of Cups”. Record SEVEN Libertadores titles, but the last one was way back in 1984.
🇺🇬 SC Villa - Uganda’s record champions and African Cup finalists in 1991. Uganda has still never had a continental champion.
🇧🇷 Amazonas FC - Only founded in 2019 and reached Série B within FIVE YEARS. You could basically build the entire history of the club yourself.
🇯🇵 Tokyo Verdy - One of the original giants of Japanese football and seven-time national champions. Then spent 16 years outside J1.
🇵🇪 Cienciano - The ONLY Peruvian club ever to win an international trophy, beating River Plate in the 2003 Copa Sudamericana final.
🇨🇷 Cartaginés - CONCACAF champions in 1994 despite living in the shadow of Costa Rica’s two giants, Saprissa and Alajuelense.
🇺🇿 Pakhtakor - One of Central Asia’s biggest historic clubs. They had to rebuild after a 1979 air disaster killed much of the first-team squad and have still never become champions of Asia.
🇸🇬 Young Lions - Effectively Singapore’s national development side, built mainly around young local players. Winning the league with them would be ridiculous.
🇨🇩 TP Mazembe - Became the FIRST club from outside Europe or South America to reach the Club World Cup final in 2010. Now actually win the thing.
🇯🇵 Yokohama FC - Created by angry Yokohama Flügels fans after their club was merged away in 1999. Became Japan’s first supporter-owned professional club.
🇦🇷 Argentinos Juniors - Their academy gave the world Maradona, Riquelme, Cambiasso and loads more. They literally call themselves “The Academy of the World”.
🇨🇳 Liaoning FC - China’s FIRST Asian champions, winning the Asian Club Championship in 1990. The historic club later disappeared completely.
🇧🇷 Ponte Preta - Founded in 1900 and one of Brazil’s oldest clubs. Somehow still NEVER been Brazilian champions.
🇹🇲 Altyn Asyr - Reached the AFC Cup final in 2018, one of the biggest achievements in Turkmen club football history.
🇦🇷 Ferro Carril Oeste - Won TWO Argentine titles in the 1980s but haven’t played top-flight football since 2000.
🇿🇦 Orlando Pirates - Became the FIRST South African club to be champions of Africa in 1995. They finally ended a 14-year domestic title drought in 2026, so now go continental again.
🇹🇭 Thai Farmers Bank - Won BACK-TO-BACK Asian Club Championships in 1994 and 1995. The club doesn’t even exist anymore. Custom database gold.
🇦🇲 FC Noah - Only founded in 2017. By 2026 they’d become the first Armenian club to reach a European knockout phase AND win a European knockout match.
🇹🇿 Young Africans - Reached the 2023 CAF Confederation Cup final and came painfully close to winning Tanzania’s first modern continental trophy.
🇯🇵 Nagoya Grampus Eight - The club Arsène Wenger managed before Arsenal. That’s enough of a reason on its own.
🇸🇷 SV Transvaal - Suriname have only produced two CONCACAF champions. Transvaal won BOTH of those titles, in 1973 and 1981.

🇦🇷 Chacarita Juniors - Argentine champions in 1969. Now living in the lower leagues.
🇨🇳 Jiangsu FC - Won their FIRST Chinese Super League title in 2020... then CEASED OPERATIONS just THREE MONTHS later. One of the maddest boom-and-bust stories anywhere.

🇮🇷 Persepolis - Reached the Asian Champions League final TWICE in three years, in 2018 and 2020. Lost both. One of Asia’s biggest clubs still chasing that modern continental title.
🇯🇴 Al-Wehdat - A club whose identity comes from the Al-Wehdat refugee camp in Amman. One of Jordan’s biggest clubs and a genuinely unique save.
🇰🇵 April 25 SC - North Korea’s military football club. Reached the 2019 AFC Cup final, becoming the first North Korean men’s club to reach an Asian final. Lost 1-0.
🇸🇾 Al-Jaish - Won the VERY FIRST AFC Cup in 2004. Basically the perfect “restore the original champions” save.
🇻🇳 Hanoi FC - Won the ASEAN section of the 2019 AFC Cup and made it all the way to the Inter-Zone Final. One of Vietnam’s best modern continental runs.
🇰🇭 Preah Khan Reach Svay Rieng - Reached the AFC Challenge League final in 2025. Lost. Came back in 2026, went 2-0 up in the final... and somehow lost 4-3 after extra time.
🇧🇩 Abahani Limited Dhaka - Reached the AFC Cup Inter-Zone semi-finals in 2019, one of the best continental runs ever by a Bangladeshi club.
🇲🇻 New Radiant - Reached the AFC Cup semi-finals in 2005 and the quarter-finals again in 2013. A Maldivian club getting anywhere near that level again would be some save.
🇭🇰 Kitchee - Became the FIRST Hong Kong club ever to reach the Asian Champions League knockouts in 2022.
🇹🇼 Taiwan Power Company - Literally the football team of Taiwan’s state electricity company. Also won the AFC President’s Cup in 2011.
🇦🇫 Abu Muslim Farah - Lost to Paro in AFC Challenge League qualifying in both 2025 and 2026. No Afghan club has ever reached an AFC group stage, so there’s your target.
🇯🇲 Mount Pleasant FA - Won their FIRST Caribbean Cup in 2025 and qualified for their first CONCACAF Champions Cup. Jamaica suddenly has a new force.
🇩🇴 Universidad O&M - An actual UNIVERSITY football club that reached the 2025 Caribbean Cup final and qualified for the Champions Cup.
🇧🇿 Verdes FC - Became the FIRST Belizean club to win a CONCACAF League knockout tie in 2022, then went on to represent Belize in the Central American Cup.
🇨🇼 Jong Colombia - Reached the CONCACAF Champions Cup final in 1967 and took Alianza to a deciding third game before losing 5-3. Completely forgotten piece of Caribbean football history.
🇦🇬 Antigua Barracuda FC - Antigua and Barbuda’s first full-time professional club played in the American third tier. In 2013 they played EVERY game away, lost all 26 and then folded. Custom database heaven.
🇵🇷 Puerto Rico Islanders - Reached the CONCACAF Champions League semi-finals in 2009, beat Cruz Azul 2-0 in the first leg and eventually went out on penalties. The club later disappeared completely.
🇼🇸 Lupe Ole Soaga - Became the FIRST Samoan club ever to win an OFC Champions League group-stage match when they beat Fiji’s Ba 4-3 in 2020.
🇧🇲 Bermuda Hogges - Founded by Bermuda legend Shaun Goater specifically to develop Bermudian players by competing in the American league system. Another brilliant extinct-club to bring back.
