PANews reported on October 2, citing Cointelegraph, that BNB Chain has become the first blockchain to see the market cap of tokenized stocks and ETFs surpass $1 billion. Token Terminal data shows that the total market cap of tokenized stocks and ETFs rose from $2.87 billion in August to about $3.35 billion in September, an increase of roughly 17%. The market cap of this sector on BNB Chain reached $1.1 billion, accounting for about 30% of the $3.7 billion market, followed by Ethereum at $828 million, or 22%, and Solana at $738 million, or 20%.

A Binance Research report stated that BNB Chain also leads with 1.8 million addresses holding tokenized stocks, accounting for 45% of the total, and its network hosts products such as Binance bStocks and Ondo Global Markets tokenized securities. Tokenized stocks and ETFs have grown more than fivefold from $719 million in January, when Ethereum accounted for about 48%, Solana for 31%, and BNB Chain for only 13%.
