Not a pilot or a "proof of concept" running on testnet somewhere. Real mortgage data, the kind that involves actual borrowers, actual property valuations, actual money, live onchain right now.
And the part that really got me is this isn't even the whole story, there's reportedly another $10 billion expected to migrate over in the coming months as Pineapple Financial keeps building out its treasury on the chain.
Think about how much friction usually sits around mortgage data. It's paperwork heavy, it's siloed across banks and servicers, it's one of the slowest corners of finance to touch anything remotely digital, let alone blockchain.
So watching a billion dollars of it actually land onchain, quietly, without some huge marketing push around it, feels different than most tokenization headlines I've seen this cycle.
And it's not happening alone either. Staking just hit a new all-time high, over 58 million INJ now staked.
The Community BuyBack keeps burning tokens every month, past 7.2 million total now. Native INJ went live on Coinbase. It's live on Robinhood too.
None of these are massive standalone stories, but stacked together in the same short window, it starts painting a pretty clear picture of momentum that isn't just price speculation, it's actual usage and actual infrastructure maturing at the same time.
Honestly I think this is the kind of moment people will look back on and go "wait, that's when it actually got real."
Not because of a chart, but because real financial data started moving onto the chain in size, and it kept going.
