one thing about @Americanfort_io that actually makes sense to me:

crypto payments still depend way too much on copying strings of random characters.

that tiny clipboard step is where address poisoning gets interesting.

FortressName changes the flow from:

copy address → double check → send

to:

send to @name → wallet computes a fresh one-time address → payment settles on the same native chain.

and the important part is that AmericanFortress isn't asking users to move to another L1/L2.

it's built as infrastructure that can sit inside wallets, exchanges and custodians people already use.

that feels like the more practical way to improve payment privacy and safety.

less changing your habits.

more fixing the dangerous part of the habit.
