Nobody has to
keep score.
Someone always ends up paying more than their share, and nobody wants to be the one who brings it up. Splitt just says it: right under the balance, it names the person furthest behind, because handing them the next bill moves the whole group closest to even in one go.
- Updates after every expense
- Says "everyone is even" when that's true
- Works per group, not across your whole life
44 currencies.
One number.
Pay in whatever is local — pounds at the hotel, yen for the taxi, baht for street food. Splitt converts every expense into the group's currency and keeps the rates fresh through the day, so the balance is one figure you can read at a glance instead of a pile you reconcile on the flight home.
- 44 currencies, every one with live rates
- Converted on entry, not on demand
- Your share always in the group's currency
Pay the person
you actually owe.
Most apps "simplify" debts by netting the whole group into the fewest transfers, which is how you end up sending €80 to someone you never bought anything with. Splitt keeps every balance between the two people who created it. Sometimes that's one payment more. It has never once needed explaining.
- One payment per pair
- No routing through third parties
- Settled in a single tap, recorded in the history
Adds payments to the history and settles every balance between the members.
Free to use.
Every group, every trip.
Everything the group does
Expenses, groups, members and the whole history — nothing metered, nothing expiring, no ads on any screen. Live rates across 44 currencies, who pays next, settling up and offline sync are all part of it. A shared ledger only works if everyone is in it and it remembers the whole trip, so that's free and stays free.
Splitt Pro Pro
An add-on for whoever ends up keeping the books. Today that's receipt scanning — point the camera at the bill and Splitt reads it. Export, search and statistics are next. Pro is for you, never a gate for the group: nobody else needs it, and a scanned expense is just an expense.
Frequently asked questions
Is Splitt free?
Yes, with nothing metered. No cap on expenses, no cap on groups, no cap on how many people are in one, and no window after which your history disappears. No ads either. The one paid feature is receipt scanning, which is part of Splitt Pro; typing an expense in is free.
What is "who pays next"?
Splitt looks at everyone's balance and names the person furthest behind, because handing them the next bill pulls the whole group closest to even. When nobody is meaningfully behind it says so, and anyone can grab the bill.
How does Splitt handle different currencies?
Enter what you actually paid, in the currency you paid it in. Splitt converts it into the group's currency using rates it refreshes through the day, across 44 currencies, so the balance is always one number instead of five.
Will Splitt tell me to pay someone I never shared a bill with?
No. What you owe each person is tracked on its own, and settling up produces one payment per pair. You always pay the person you actually owe.
Does everyone in the group need the app?
To add expenses and see live balances, yes — each person joins with a link, an invite code or from your contacts. There is no limit on how many people can be in a group.
Does Splitt work offline?
Yes. Expenses you add without a connection are stored on device and sync to the group the moment you are back online.
