@coingecko’s RWA charts make it easier to break the tokenized asset market down by:
• Market cap • 24H volume • Token count • Asset type • Issuer • Timeframe
Right now, the tokenized market is around $8.47B in market cap, with roughly $1.53B in 24H trading volume, up about 9%.
That volume is worth paying attention to.
The composition gets even more interesting.
Gold and other commodities still make up a significant share of market cap, while stocks, ETFs, and issuers such as Tether, Paxos, Ondo, xStocks, and Robinhood Europe show how fragmented the market has become.
✦ The three main metrics tell very different things:
Market cap → how much value is tokenized Volume → how actively those assets are trading Token count → how many assets are being issued
A bigger market cap doesn't automatically mean more activity.
Higher volume doesn't necessarily mean market cap is growing at the same rate.
More tokens don't automatically mean more capital is entering the market.
That’s why I find this dashboard useful.
Instead of treating RWAs as one category, you can see which asset types are growing, which ones are actually trading, and which issuers are gaining distribution.
