Onchain activity is still pretty strong:
– 8.47M txs in 24H – $1.40B DEX volume/24H – 162.7K active wallets/24H – 13K+ new tokens launched daily across major launchpads
Launchpad activity is also heavily concentrated:
– @ponsdotfamily: 7,351 launches/24H – @flapdotsh: 3,843 – @longdotxyz : 1,753
These 3 account for ~96% of launches among the top 10 launchpads shown on Dune.
Ofc, meme activity has cooled quite a bit from the early-Sep peak.
Daily launchpad token volume dropped from $1.3B+ to around $350-400M, while daily new token launches fell from ~30-40K at peak to 13K+ now.
But IMO, this is still a solid level of activity for an ecosystem that only started attracting serious meme liquidity a few months ago.
Liquidity could become increasingly concentrated around a few launchpads and memes with strong communities, especially with stock-paired memes and tokenized stocks continuing to grow on Robinhood.
For the next meme cycle, I'm mainly watching Solana and Robinhood Chain.
If you're not good at hunting individual memes, another way to get exposure to this narrative is through launchpad tokens that already have real activity and market share.

Personally, $PONS is still on my watchlist for another Robinhood meme wave.

If you’ve been watching Robinhood Chain lately, the launchpad war is heating up fast, especially between @ponsdotfamily and @TradePools by @Uniswap.
Personally, I’m leaning toward PONS here for a few reasons:
[1] Better economics for creators
This is probably the biggest one for me.
On Pons, creators can capture 0.7% from trading activity, while Pools allows an optional creator cut of up to 0.05%.
At the same $1M volume, that difference can be significant.
And in a launchpad business, I think attracting good creators first matters a lot. Traders usually follow where the attention and good tokens are.
[2] $PONS already has a working token flywheel
Pons isn’t just a launchpad with a token attached.
Part of the protocol economics flows back into $PONS through buybacks/burns, so growing platform activity can translate into value accrual for the token.
That makes $PONS more interesting to me than simply betting on launchpad volume.
[3] Pons already built its position before Uniswap entered
@TradePools obviously has the stronger brand and distribution.
But Pons already had users, creators and mindshare on Robinhood Chain before Pools arrived.
The fact that Uniswap entered this market also tells me something else: the launchpad vertical on Robinhood Chain is becoming important enough to fight for.
[4] Robinhood listing angle
This is the speculative part of my thesis.
I have no idea whether $PONS will actually be one of the next Robinhood Spot listings.
But when I look across the current Robinhood Chain tokens, I think $PONS is one of the names with a noticeable case: a real product, existing activity, strong ecosystem relevance and now a clear competitive narrative.
So I bought some.
TradePools may win on brand and cheaper trading.
But right now, I think $PONS has the more interesting token thesis.

Raydium is the cleanest one, its weekly revenue went from about $93K in mid August to $1.2M last week and it's still climbing, and Meteora is on the same path at a slower pace.
Aerodrome's jump mostly came from one week, it made $9.17M in early September, and its normal weeks since then are around $1.8M.
Arbitrum's jump lines up almost exactly with Robinhood Chain's fee spike, since Robinhood Chain pays Arbitrum a cut of its fees, and it has already faded now that fees there have calmed down.
Uniswap's revenue has come down every week since early September, while the price is still up 71% on the month.
Then there are tokens that pumped with no new revenue at all, Chainlink is up 27% with revenue flat, and Aethir is up 20% while its revenue fell 22%.

No, Robinhood didn't announce an $INDEX integration.
But if you're looking for a narrative to follow after this summit, the direction couldn't be more obvious.

And the funniest part? "BUY $PONS & $CASHCAT" literally appeared on the summit screen. They even showed the cat.
Not a listing confirmation, but one hell of an Easter egg for the Robinhood Chain community.
The only thing missing was an actual Robinhood Chain announcement.
