The IMF’s latest Global Financial Stability Report chapter on scaling tokenization includes pie charts of tokenized asset value by blockchain network. XRP Ledger and Stellar appear alongside Ethereum, Solana, Avalanche, and BNB Chain as part of the concentrated set of public networks holding tokenized value (repos and stablecoins excluded from the figures).

The report notes the tokenized real-world asset market reached roughly $65 billion by July 2026 and is still fragmented, with growth constrained by legal certainty, regulatory clarity, interoperability, and settlement assets. It also flags how tokenization can amplify liquidity, leverage, and operational risks as it scales.
