No. Only your daily step total is used - never GPS, location, or health details.

Does Snail Walk use GPS?

No. Snail Walk is a walking game without GPS - it only reads your daily step count, from Apple Health on iPhone or Health Connect on Android. No location, no routes, no map of where you went.

Does it work indoors or on a treadmill?

Yes. Steps are steps - treadmill, hallway, pacing while on a call. Bob does not care where you take them, only that you take them.
