The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency published new September 18 decisions for
Bastion Platforms National Trust Company Catena Trust Bank, N.A. Agora National Trust Bank
All three appear in the OCC’s own digital-asset licensing pipeline.
This is bigger than one stablecoin company receiving approval.
Bastion plans to place stablecoin issuance, custody, wallets, payments and conversion infrastructure under one federally supervised entity.
Catena’s OCC application covers custody, clearing, execution and conversion for fiat, securities and digital assets including GENIUS Act-compliant payment stablecoins.
Agora is building beyond AUSD toward settlement infrastructure, treasury management and fiat connectivity for global businesses.
The direction is becoming difficult to ignore.
Stablecoin infrastructure is being pulled directly inside the U.S. federal banking perimeter.

It was literally in the middle of the week, so we had around 40 people join us.
We had only 10–15 Architects there, but everyone else was already involved in Web3 in some way, and we had the chance to introduce Arc to them for the first time.
We talked about Circle tech, how people can get involved with @arc as builders or community supporters, and how @circle and Arc support builders through Circle Alliance and grants.
Most of all, we had people come up on stage and share their experiences with stablecoins, fintech, and Web3.
There were people already building on Arc, some working in auditing, some in BD, some in smart contracts, some with their own products, and some with their own communities. That’s exactly what connecting people to the Arc ecosystem is about, and how we can help grow it together.
