## @ChadSteingraber (Chad Steingraber) · 09-17 16:08 · ♥145 ↻20 💬9 I'm old enough to remember last week when Community and Regional banks were going to be destroyed by stablecoins.

That's what they said. https://t.co/1q2SiHWCIo > 引用 @coinbase: Crypto and stablecoins are coming to your local bank app.

## @thedailyblock (The Daily Block) · 09-17 15:59 · ♥62 ↻6 💬16 🚨 The amount of activity moving onchain is getting hard to ignore.

$300B in stablecoins and tens of millions of wallets is a massive base to build on.

Feels like we’re entering the phase where more real-world activity starts moving onchain. > 引用 @avax: "What's exciting about the Avalanche ecosystem this year is that there's more and more to do onchain.

There's $300B of stable coins, tens of millions of wallet users."

View Sec, CFTC, FED, IRS, Treasury, FDIC, OCC,

as tumblers in a safe

Need all the numbers man

If you don’t got control?

Not much can actually happen

Also just think too

We need laws first bc all those regs could be overwritten by legislators with legislation

Further compounding liability concerns as far as the institutions deploying value in the forms of stablecoins, CBDC, tokenized assets/securities/treasuries to THEN use XRP to settle into whatever https://x.com/VincentSco72192/status/2100618424309158046

## @TheRealWeb3Kat (Kat) · 09-17 11:59 · ♥42 ↻4 💬5 Cardano has spent a long time optimizing for the blockchain and not enough time optimizing for economic activity.

PoS, the eUTXO model, native assets, formal methods, decentralization, governance, research, scalability work, etc have all been core focus areas. In contrast, the L1s that pulled ahead aggressively competed for developers, stablecoins, liquidity, trading, lending, payments, consumer applications, interoperability, institutions and most importantly: USERS

Cardano has treated adoption as something that will emerge from building superior infrastructure rather than something we needed to deliberately engineer.

It needs to be easy for builders to build and users to transact.

We need stablecoins, liquidity, distribution and applications people WANT to use.

We need to realize that these things cannot come second to the technology,

THEY ARE THE POINT OF THE TECHNOLOGY. https://x.com/TheRealWeb3Kat/status/2100555307675980212
