OnRe’s ONyc is backed by real reinsurance premiums and reserve income, not emissions or funding-rate games.
Kamino now lets users borrow USDC against ONyc at a locked 8% for rolling 30-day terms, with $1.5M starting liquidity and a Multiply vault live.
The interesting part is simple: one side of the trade is fixed.
Instead of guessing where variable borrowing costs go, you can model your carry with a known funding cost.
Over $100M was already sitting in ONyc Multiply strategies.
It doesn’t remove underwriting risk, and ONyc isn’t a stablecoin. But fixed funding removes one layer of rate uncertainty.
Early, thin liquidity, and definitely not free money.

At first, I only knew DualMint through Robo Run, but after hearing the team explain it directly, the concept felt pretty straightforward:
