Secrecy is when something is hidden because there's a motive behind hiding it, something to gain or something to protect from being found out.
Privacy is different. It's not about hiding for a reason, it's simply the right to choose what stays yours and what doesn't.
While privacy is important, people should also understand the variables of what should and shouldn't be made public.
That's what we want to build with Bitfoots. We don't want to hide behind the fact that the chain has privacy built in.
Most of what we do will be transparent, but the privacy will still be there when it matters.
Beyond that, we want to curate our community with real contributors, not people who are only here because Bitfoots is hyped, but people who were already making quality content before they even knew Bitfoots existed, as their own way of contributing to the ecosystem.
We didn't hide this art and spend this long making it just so it could be flipped. We want the people who end up holding it to be people you can genuinely point to and say they represent the Bitfoots community.
We're not just looking at what you're contributing right now. We're looking at what you've contributed before, and what else you're capable of contributing.
This is also why there are two versions, and why our Ordinals collection exists at all. It's a promise we've owed for a long time, finally being fulfilled.
It's also how we're locking the Bitfoots IP permanently on-chain, completely immutable. To us, that means burying it deep into the roots of Bitcoin, the motherchain of all chains.
And so far, it's working. After 2.5 years, Bitfoots is still here, and it's going to stay here forever.

Borrowed ~700k when hype was around $37 to buy around 18400 more hype.
These extra 18k hype are worth about 1.7m now and I’m selling part of it to become debt free
