- launches on Solana on September 15 - lets anyone launch a memecoin and redirect creator fees to any X account
Context:
- 80% of the fees are sent in dollars to the tagged account through X Money - 20% is used to buy and burn $PAID - the person receiving the money doesn’t even need to agree to it (remember BagsApp) - $PAID itself gives holders no rights to those fees
The token goes from basically zero to ~$30M Mcap
Nikita Bier responds and calls UsePaid “a pretty creative hack on XMoney”
immediately points out the obvious problem:
people need a way to opt out because traders could harass users into endorsing tokens
Then the token goes from $37M → ~$7.3M
UsePaid expands to Pons on Robinhood Chain
