## @LeonVoss (Leon Voss Official) · 09-25 10:25 · ♥81 ↻0 💬20 Crypto spending is convenient. But before you tap that @binance Card, a few things are worth knowing
🔸 Volatility matters. BTC/ETH can move before your grocery payment settles. Stablecoins like USDC/USDT can make budgeting more predictable.
🔸 Fees can differ. Other crypto may incur around a 0.9% conversion fee, while eligible USDC spending can be fee-free.
🔸 Travel costs matter. Global cards are USD-denominated, so overseas spending may add a 2% fee plus the Mastercard FX spread.
🔸 Security first. Not using your card? Freeze it in the app. Unfreeze it when you’re ready to pay.
🔸 Taxes can apply. Spending crypto may count as a taxable disposal or capital-gains event depending on your country.
🔸 Failed payments can be tricky. If funds are deducted and the payment later fails, the refund may return in USDC and could require swapping back.
The convenience is real.
But understanding how the card actually works is what makes crypto spending smarter.

## @randgroup (Rand Group) · 09-25 11:02 · ♥60 ↻13 💬6 2020: devs were farming yields.
2026: devs are chasing audited components and clean upgrade paths on dollar rails.
Stablecoins stopped being an experiment ages ago and most keep sleeping on it. https://t.co/wwAIKViAYx > 引用 @trondao: @OpenZeppelin is now available on TRON.
Developers can now build with audited smart contract components, familiar upgrade workflows, and security tooling designed for the TRON network.

## @astroboysoup (Pete) · 09-25 08:46 · ♥44 ↻10 💬1 Stablecoins might be one of the most important pieces of infrastructure Cardano needs to grow.
And the recent @USDMOfficial minting activity is worth paying attention to.
We've seen several large mints: 💵 2.0M USDM 💵 3.9M USDM 💵 2.82M USDM
The latest shown pushes total supply to roughly 13.37M USDM.
Why does this matter?
Businesses don't want to receive $100,000 today and discover it's worth $92,000 tomorrow because the asset they were paid in dropped 8%.
They need something predictable.
That's where stablecoin rails become interesting.
USD → USDM → Cardano → Smart Contract → Business/User
Payments. Settlement. Escrow. DeFi. Treasury management. On/off-ramps.
For me, this is particularly interesting because payment and escrow infrastructure is exactly the type of thing I'm building around.
If we want real businesses using Cardano, we need more than tokens people trade. We need the boring financial infrastructure underneath everything.
Large USDM mints don't automatically mean millions in institutional capital has entered Cardano. We can't tell from these transactions alone who is minting or where every USDM will ultimately be used.
But more stablecoin liquidity gives builders more infrastructure to work with.
The bigger question isn't how much @USDMOfficial gets minted.
It's what gets built around that liquidity once it's on Cardano.
What applications could actually bring meaningful stablecoin volume onto Cardano?

## @scopuly (Scopuly - Stellar Wallet) · 09-25 05:30 · ♥45 ↻7 💬2 🔐 Stellar $XLM may have found the privacy model stablecoins actually need.
Not total anonymity. Confidentiality.
OpenZeppelin has built an open-source confidential token architecture for Stellar $XLM where:
👁 Addresses can remain visible 💸 Transfer amounts stay hidden 🏦 Balances stay hidden 🧠 Zero-knowledge proofs verify every state change 🛡 Issuers can still freeze restricted accounts 📋 External KYC / policy systems can still be enforced 🔎 Auditors get scoped access - not a universal master key
That distinction is huge. Banks and businesses often don’t need to hide who they’re paying. They need to hide how much.
Payroll. Treasury. Supplier payments. Institutional settlements.
Nobody wants every balance and payment amount permanently exposed to the world.
And Stellar’s $XLM model keeps privacy without throwing away the controls regulated issuers need.
Even better:
Users can prove one specific fact - like a payment amount or balance threshold - without revealing their entire financial history.
That’s what zero-knowledge tech should look like in real finance.
Not privacy vs compliance. Privacy + compliance.
If stablecoins are going mainstream, this layer may be just as important as speed or fees.

## @Milonsa87650356 (MILON) · 09-25 05:15 · ♥40 ↻5 💬5 Quick Bitget Wallet update 👀
There’s been some unusual wallet activity around Bitget, with large amounts of ETH, AVAX, BNB and stablecoins moving between different addresses.
At the same time, some users are reporting delayed or stuck withdrawals.
This alone doesn’t confirm any hack large exchanges regularly move funds between treasury, custody and other operational wallets.
Still, the timing is worth watching.
Hopefully @bitget and @BitgetSupport can clarify whether these are normal internal wallet movements and whether withdrawals are operating normally.
No need to panic. If you use Bitget, just keep an eye on your own withdrawals and wait for an official update.
