the price can be volatile, macro conditions remain uncertain and a large options expiry is approaching.
yet one thing continues to stand out:
spot bitcoin ETF demand is staying active.
institutional capital continues to flow into the ETFs, with BlackRock’s IBIT among the leading products attracting purchases.
that creates an interesting dynamic.
➞ macro pressure can create short-term volatility ➞ options expiry can add additional market positioning ➞ traders can reduce risk ➞ but institutional ETF demand continues underneath
this is why I don’t think the Bitcoin chart tells the whole story.
ETF flows give us another data point to watch.
when institutions continue gaining exposure through spot products during periods of market pressure, it shows that demand hasn’t simply disappeared because volatility increased.
the bigger question now is whether these inflows remain consistent over the coming sessions.
because one strong day can move sentiment.
sustained capital flows are what really matter.
for now, Bitcoin ( $BTC ) has two stories happening at the same time:
short-term pressure on the surface. institutional demand underneath.
