There are 4,444 Bears, with the collection set to mint at no cost on Robinhood.
But the design goes beyond simply holding a profile picture.
When a Bear trades, royalties can involve both ETH and $MNTD, creating an ongoing connection between trading activity and the collection.
Bears can also be leveled from 1 to 5 by burning $MNTD.
Higher levels can carry more weight in the royalty pool, so every Bear doesn't necessarily sit in the same position.
Holding more Bears can mean more exposure to that pool as well.
After TGE, a Bear can also be linked to MINT Status, while raffles and Status remain separate tools with their own roles.
What I find interesting is the progression loop: trade, generate royalties, participate in distribution, level the Bear, then increase your involvement over time.
That makes MintABear feel less focused on the initial mint and more focused on what happens afterward.

One ticker starts running, and minutes later there are 10 copies with the same name. Liquidity gets split, people ape the wrong one, and most of them are dead within the hour.
The funny part: who decides which one is the OG? A few "influencers." (Definitely not because they already filled their bags, lol.)
We think onchain data should pick the winner, not whoever has the loudest account.
