## @PhotonCap (Photon Capital) · 09-29 15:39 · ♥31 ↻2 💬9 - The strength in both $AMKR and $ASX suggests AI investment flows are broadening into advanced packaging and test.

- $AMKR expanded its Arizona advanced packaging/test investment to $12B after customer commitments exceeded its original Phase 1 capacity.

- $AMKR Q2 revenue reached $1.90B, +26% YoY, with data-center demand driving record Computing revenue.

- $ASX delivered Q2 revenue growth of 17% and EPS growth of 149% YoY as AI/HPC packaging demand strengthened.

- $ASX is also up roughly 3% on September 29.

> The more important signal is that $AMKR and $ASX are moving together rather than this being an isolated stock move.

> Larger AI accelerators and more HBM are structurally increasing complexity across 2.5D packaging, probe, assembly, and final test.

> Investor attention appears to be moving downstream from GPUs to HBM and increasingly toward advanced packaging/test bottlenecks.

> $AMKR offers U.S. onshore packaging exposure, while $ASX provides large-scale AI/HPC OSAT exposure. > 引用 @PhotonCap: invested in $AMKR as well as $ASX https://x.com/PhotonCap/status/2104959159930323395

## @JonkooTrades (Jonkoo Capital) · 09-29 16:06 · ♥31 ↻1 💬3 $AAOI for me is one of the more interesting optical names heading into 2027.

The story is quickly moving from “AI optics demand is coming” to how fast can AAOI physically produce enough transceivers to meet it?

Q2 revenue grew 86% YoY to $192M, with Data Center revenue up 140%. 800G volumes more than doubled sequentially, and Q3 guidance calls for another major jump to $255–290M.

But the capacity ramp is what really caught my attention.

AAOI was approaching ~200K units/month of combined 800G + 1.6T capacity in Q2.

Management is targeting: → ~650K/month by YE26 → >930K/month by YE27 And they expect demand to exceed production capacity through mid-2027.

This isn't just theoretical demand anymore either.

$AAOI announced its first volume 1.6T order from a major hyperscaler earlier this year, while another hyperscale customer placed $124M of disclosed 800G orders within a few weeks.

The next leg is 1.6T.

Management has discussed an illustrative mid-2027 data-center transceiver mix that would equate to roughly $471M of monthly revenue across 100G/400G, 800G and 1.6T.

For perspective.

$AAOI did just $456M of revenue in all of 2025.

Obviously capacity ≠ shipments and management expectations ≠ guaranteed revenue.

That's exactly what makes the setup interesting to me. https://x.com/JonkooTrades/status/2104966141000978779
