PANews, October 9 — According to an official announcement from Anthropic, the company has launched a cybersecurity program called Cyber Mission, with its first phase focused on critical infrastructure and open-source software. The critical infrastructure defense program will provide cutting-edge Claude models, on-site engineers, and threat research support to 11 security service providers, including Accenture, CrowdStrike, Deloitte, and PwC, covering systems such as power grids, water supply, and transportation. The OSS Scanner will scan selected open-source projects for vulnerabilities free of charge and offer remediation recommendations, with an expected true positive rate exceeding 90%.
