I just ran USDC on Ethereum → USDT on TON.
New network. New stablecoin. One transaction.
The numbers:
50 USDC in. 49.87 USDT out. Rate: ~0.9974 USDT per USDC. Network fee: 0.13 USDT. Estimated time: 2 to 5 minutes.
Two things worth noticing.
First, even between two stablecoins, the rate isn't a flat 1 to 1
Second, the time window is wider than the same network quote I tested earlier. Crossing chains has a cost, and it shows up in the details.
But here's the part that matters:
𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗽𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗴𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗿𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗲 𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗹𝘆.
No bridged USDC landing on TON that you then have to swap again separately.
Not: bridge first, swap second.
But: the asset you actually wanted, delivered directly.
That's the difference between moving funds and completing the move.
