Been thinking about our platforms and information diet we consume lately

At this stage, with the internet and AI, finding good sources to actually get a factual overview of happening around us, learn, or even just explore a topic and get the facts right feels surprisingly difficult. Realizations The incentives of the platform we choose shape a lot of what ends up in front of us.

Metrics like likes, shares, comments, and views don't necessarily reflect the quality or credibility of the information. I personally need to remind myself of this more often.

Information is abundant, but that doesn't make it easy to find information we can actually trust. If you're not familiar with a subject, it can be surprisingly difficult to judge.

I think there's something to be said for intentionally cultivating a digital space that exposes you to high-quality, credible, and legitimate contents.

I'm still figuring out, curious how other people think about this. like what you do to know what's happening within a space or subject that you don't know anything of factually.
